My hair keeps growing.....

I have been growing out my hair for the past year now, and I am so excited to be able to braid it like this girl. Having been blessed with my father's genes for thick, abundant hair, it grows incredibly fast, especially with our humid weather. I wash it every three days with a color-protective shampoo and conditioner for dark tones, and afterwards use an antifrizz creme, a protective balm (because yes, hair needs some SPF too to fight against breakage) and pin curl it until it dries to soft waves. My husband loves when I pin curl my hair, he finds it cute and sexy at the same time. Once dry, I set the waves with a little spray, and don't brush the curl out.
